Syllabus, Week 2

Mr. Ditzenberger, 9th Grade Bible
Time: 5 Periods Unit 5-Passover Week: 2 Dates: January 21st-25th
1. Students will reflect upon the meaning of the Passover by writing a paragraph describing what they learned.
2. Students will review the main aspects and symbolism of the Passover and then be assessed on these main points.
3. Students will discuss the N.T. references to the Passover.
4. Students will simulate aspects of the Exodus by performing skits that include an applicable lesson.

Monday
1. Passover
2. Homework: Wednesday Quiz.
3. Homework: Write a paragraph describing what you learned and what you believe is significant about the Passover for your faith.

Tuesday
1. Chalk talk-review of Passover.
2. Verbal Passover review.

Wednesday
1. Passover quiz.
2. 1st Corinthians 11:23-26-discuss.

Thursday
1. Prepare for skits-introduction, body, conclusion (conclusion should include an application of the lesson).

Friday
1. Perform skits.
2. Break day if time allows.
